About
I’m Mitch.
I want your photographs to look considered. I don’t want your wedding to feel like a photoshoot.
The best photographs usually happen somewhere between what I planned and what you did naturally.
I’m a Melbourne-based photographer with a love for cinematic light, movement, atmosphere and people being themselves. My approach is documentary at its core, with editorial direction when it helps rather than direction for the sake of it.
That means I’ll step in when you need a hand, find the better light, give you something to do when standing still feels awkward — and then get out of the way when the moment is already doing the work.
The goal is not to make your wedding look like everyone else’s. It’s to make photographs that feel unmistakably like your day, just seen with a little more intention.
On the day
Calm presence.
Sharp eyes.
I care about the obvious frames, but I’m equally interested in the things happening at the edge of them: the nerves before the ceremony, your mates losing it during speeches, grandparents, late-night dance-floor chaos and the two seconds of quiet nobody else noticed.
